Boston College @ Duke
High lines and low lines, always try to find highs and lows. Duke is 11-5-1 ATS since the 2004 season as a conference favorite of 15 or more. That’s where I chose to end my research. Any further research would put a severe hindrance on my opportunity cost, thereby lowering the absolute value of wager placed in proportion to time invested. Why did I choose not to look past the year 2004? Thomas Friedman said it best, around this time, the world transformed into a “flat world.” Immediacy of information not only supercharged the infrastructure of communication, supply chain, and management systems, but had the intolerable effect of the bookies creating ‘sharper’ lines. The wireless world we live in brings expediency of information. The paradigm of the bookie operation invariably coincides with significant changes in society. Every pecuniary endeavor, whether of avocation or vocation, sees greater benefits when utilizing the principles of calculated efficiency.
So yeah, take Duke.

East Carolina @ Memphis
See above. Furthermore, Memphis has muddled about their last few games, most recently a lethargic 59-57 win @ Southern Miss. That’s why ECU is the ideal opponent at this point of the season for the Tigers. I am a Memphis grad, so I will not pretend I do not feel some particular sentiments towards the institution (“I’m so glad, I go to UofM”), but a quick survey of the Pirates resume thus far betrays the sense of being the unfortunate drum for which teams relieve their stress, by way of on-court domination.

UNC @ Clemson -3.5
Vegas obviously likes Clemson, the Math Geeks like Clemson, but the public does not. This is the opportune time for Clemson to lay the cover on the ‘Heels. UNC is a young team, that is being appropriated for the experienced Tigers to atone for past heartbreaks.
Last ten meetings (Covers)
One would think after a 10 game losing streak, some regression to the mean is imminent. I’ll side with probability factor, and I’ll side with the linesmakers.

*Slight lean to Wahoos and slight preliminary guess on the Ohio Bobcats.
