The outlook for the Yankees lay heavily on at least a split in Minnesota, despite their tenuous starting rotation. Game 3 and certainly Game 4 they appear to be size-able favorites, although if Game 4 turns out to be a deciding game then Minnesota may be forced to send Liriano to the mound out of desperation. Its well known how the Yankees have devastated the Twins postseason prospects during the last decade, seemingly year after year. However, Minnesota’s new stadium may spark the proverbial ‘steroid jerk’ (not to be overly derisive, merely quoting “Tin Cup” in a different context).
My series line of -145 differs considerably from the Pinnacle no-vig price of -172, so a solid lean to the Twins.
